With vineyard plantings since 1649, Txomin Etxaniz wines are typical of the fiercely Baque "Txakolina Getariako" style wines. The Txueka Etxaniz family played an integral role in the modernisation, recognition & creation of the DO Getariako Txakolina in 1989

At the heart of the winery are the native Hondarrabi varietals, which the family strive to maintain. Txomin Etxaniz has 35 hectares of protected, sloped vineyards planted to the two native grapes, the white Hondarrabi Zuri (90%) and red Hondarrabi Beltza (10%).

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Hondarrabi Zuri from the Getariako Txakolina region of Pais Vasco, Spain. Txomin is one of the most prevalent winemakers in the Basque Country, they were one of the major drivers of setting up the DOs within Pais Vasco

Taste Profile: Pale yellow with fine floral aromas. Fine and persistent carbonic acid and on the palate it is fruity, fresh and round. Good acidity and pale yellow color.

Winemaking Process: Traditional Champagne method winemaking, with 3 years of bottle ageing
