Meet Kobold, the second creature in Rocky Ridge's Germanic folklore-themed Octoberfest series. Named after the subterranean spirits of Bavarian legend — distant cousins of goblins, equally cunning but a little darker and wilder — Kobolds are known for sneaking into homes, playing tricks, and sometimes lending a helping hand if you’re very lucky.

This 5% Schwarzbier captures that shadowy, unpredictable energy in liquid form — dark, enigmatic, and surprisingly friendly.

Brewed on a rich malt base of Certified Sustainable Pilsner Malt, Uber Munich, Golden Naked Oats, and Roasted Wheat Malt, Kobold pours a deep, chocolatey brown to black with a silky, smooth mouthfeel. Layers of roasted malt, subtle chocolate, and a touch of biscuit mingle together, giving this Schwarzbier depth and warmth without weighing you down.

Hopped with Eclipse, it delivers just enough earthy, herbal lift to keep the beer lively while letting the malts shine. At 5%, it’s perfectly sessionable — sneaky enough to vanish from your glass faster than a goblin in the cellar.
