Eugenio Collavini Refosco Pucino DOC 2020

Grape Varietals & Region: 100% Refosco from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. Refosco Pucino is the expression of a native Friulian vine , already mentioned in Roman times, from which it takes its name.

Taste Profile: An intense ruby ​​with marked purple reflections announces the freshness and vinous scents typical of Refosco. The varietal fruity perception of wild blackberry and raspberry blends with delicate hints of licorice. In the mouth it is balanced and caressing, supported by a slightly herbaceous background.

Winemaking Process: The grapes are first destemmed and macerated on the skins for a week at a temperature of just 4°C. After a short fermentation in steel vats, maturation and refinement continue until spring in steel containers.
