95% Shiraz 5% Mataro, from estate-grown certified biodynamic fruit. 2/3rds of the fruit comes from the schist & clay of Block 23 . The remainder coming from 70-yr old vines of Block 5&6, with 5% from young vine Mataro. The Shiraz saw an average of 60% whole bunch across the parce ls, with the Mataro de-stemmed. Following a cool, wild fermentation in concrete it spent 6 months in combination of concrete tulips and older large format French oak. 650 dozen produced
